The Music:

The singer, pianist, accordeonist, composer and lyricist Fabienne Carlier comes from the french.speaking part of Belgium. In a touching and humourous way she describes the many and often contradicting ways of modern living, especially in Belgium. Starting from the great tradition of french Chanson, she integrates elements of Jazz and contemporary pop into her music. Her Band is as well virtuosic as inspired., and the different instruments like alto or trumpet create a colourful and remarkeable sound. In France, the CD received an exellent review from the leading french Chanson magazin.
